Me enamoré del código y del diseño al mismo tiempo, y nunca vi razón para elegir solo uno. Me importa tanto la arquitectura de fondo como la experiencia en la superficie. Para mí, los mejores productos vienen de personas que se obsesionan con ambos.
Empecé programando robots para comunidades vulnerables, enseñé a niños a programar, y eventualmente encontré mi camino en product engineering. Cada proyecto desde entonces ha sido sobre lo mismo: hacer que la tecnología se sienta humana, intencional y que valga la pena usar.
Creo que la curiosidad es más fuerte que el talento, y que presentarse cada día, sin importar lo difícil, es la forma más honesta de craft que conozco.
Nací en Cuernavaca, Morelos en 2001, una ciudad de eterna primavera, rodeada de montañas y jacarandas. Soy la mayor de tres hermanas, y uno de mis primeros recuerdos es estar sentada frente a la computadora de mi familia, completamente absorta en un videojuego que apenas entendía. Así empezó: no con una lección, sino con una sensación. La pantalla hacía algo, y yo necesitaba saber por qué.
Recuerdo desarmar electrónicos viejos para ver qué había adentro, construir pequeños experimentos con lo que encontrara, y desvelarme leyendo cosas que probablemente era muy chica para entender. Esos momentos no eran solo sobre curiosidad. Eran sobre encontrar un mundo que tuviera sentido para mí, uno donde la lógica y la imaginación pudieran vivir juntas.
Lo que más me formó, sin embargo, no fue la tecnología. Fue la calidez de mi familia, la paciencia de mi mamá dejándome desarmar cosas, y la sensación de que lo que construyera, sin importar lo pequeño, valía la pena construir.
